BTW, if Duffy is healthy, I think you have to start him at some point. Honestly, my rotation would theoretically be

Shields, Ventura, Duffy, Guthrie for 4, Shields, Ventura, Duffy.

Of course that adjusts with the series, but don't you put your guys with the best stuff out there?

Yep. And I like the idea of Ventura on the road. I watched his body language before, during, and after Game 2 in Anaheim and he was locked the hell in. He looked like a cold-blooded killer out there.

This is excellent news. Considering Yost said "We like Vargas on the road" in his presser yesterday, I'd expect we see Vargas pitching out of the bullpen this week as the long man (or, hopefully, we don't see him at all, which would mean the starters kicked ass).
