Abrams is doing a good job of keeping a lid on things... nope, no new trailer for comic-con, just backstage stuff and new character introductions.

I like it, everything points to this being an all time spectacle, maybe the biggest ever... why give it away.

Abrams will be the new Spielberg after this.

I'll have to re-watch it but he said that he "hated" playing Han Solo and wanted out of his contract?

I knew that he gave an interview once stating that he thought that Han Solo was a dumb guy but never that he tried to get out of a contract or that he hated the character.

From my POV, Ford isn't saying that he disliked the character and wanted him killed so he wouldn't have to portray him again, but that Solo's death would give the overall story more depth. In that regard, I agree, especially considering the original ending to ROTJ, with the dopey Muppets ending.

That said, I think that every single "spoiler" is basing their Han Solo info off of that singular interview which of course, doesn't make it true.

Personally, I hope we get to see Han save the day several times in the new trilogy.

I had heard from others that originally, George Lucas was to kill off Lando, and Han's speech about "Never seeing her again" was foreshadowing.

Oh, the other thing I keep forgetting to tell you guys is that one of the Dads in my daughter's preschool class was a PA on ROTJ! He's a producer now and one of these days, I'm going to pick his brain...
