The Cavs might get even worse for a while too. LeBron out for at least the next 2 weeks with knee/back strains (that he has been playing through all year to this point). There's almost no way Cleveland will get the #1 seed in that conference now, but that never looked to be a primary goal anyway. Getting him 100% healthy for April is everything at this point.

With the talk of playing a lesser role and deferring still easily leads the league in minutes played. Seems like more of shitty teammates.

Heat have been a .500 team when Wade/Bosh both play. Without both of them in the lineup they are 5-9. If they add a healthy McRoberts, it would have helped stabilize a weak front court anyways that's been over exposed especially when Bosh was out. Birdman and the bench are better coming off the bench with limited minutes. If the Heat are healthy they should be about the 4th or 5th place team in the East.

I see no reason that the Heat shouldn't be a #1 or #2 seed with Wade / Bosh / Deng.

The problem is, Wade just can't do it anymore and Chris Bosh is SOFT. Always has been, always will be. He's incredibly soft.

Chicago is better. Washington is better. Toronto is better. And Cleveland has LeBron who makes whoever he is playing for better.

that's only the case if you think Wade is no longer a superstar and Bosh is soft

Wade, it's natural for a guy that small to regress at this point. He is great, though, and I respect him.

Bosh? Bosh is a joke. No heart. SOFT.

Wade is still a superstar and Bosh performs well, just that Chicago is deeper. Washington is deep and younger. Toronto is pretty good, they also get to beat up on the Atlantic Division so that helps them in the win total.

Raptors have played less games in division than anybody in the East so far, so that hasn't had much effect on their record yet. But it will be helpful down the stretch.

The goal at this point for Toronto/Chicago/Washington/Atlanta is not to be the team that has to play LeBron in the first round (although who knows where the Cavs will end up exactly in the standings).

I've given him credit for being able to play his role effectively on the Heat for those years (even if he often wilted at significant moments), but I've never been convinced Bosh could be a primary (#1 or #2) guy on a contending team. He's not doing anything to prove me wrong this year.

Bosh is a good third wheel. I was always annoyed by the Big 3 tag. It was the Big 2 and Chris Bosh.

Pistons have won like 4 straight blowout games now ...

I think it's safe to say Josh Smith is not good for team chemistry.
