That's one of the dumbest things I've ever read on here. Wow.

I like 3 Quarterbacks in this draft and happy with any of them. Geno Barkley or Wilson. QB or Bust. |

Another con is that under pressure he tends to continue to drop back rather than step up in the pocket.

Another con is sometimes he fractures the fingers of his WR's.
Oh, and he might just rip those really cool new gloves with bullet like passes. Trainer's gonna hate. |

We better draft Geno. After hearing all these interviews the dude has the drive. I hope the new regime does not go full reerun on draft day.

Easily correctable, but from his college tape, I agree. My biggest gripe about Geno: when the receivers aren't open and he has a big running lane, he opts to throw it away, take a sack by waiting too long, or forces a throw. I can remember at last 10 times when I would yell at the screen for the guy to just take off and run with it because that's what the defense was giving him. The guy isn't slow, he had plenty of chances to pick up 15 or even 20 yards by running it and seemed to ignore the opportunity...probably because he wanted to stay disciplined by keeping his eyes downfield, but he needs to make defenses respect his legs in those situations at the next level. |

I think all 3 of these QB's have flaws, BUT our coaching staff can fix them with time.
And I realize Barkley doesn't have the strongest arm, but that's what the weight room is for. Matt Ryan had the same concern, but he's made plenty of great long throws. I think Wilson has the same correctable flaws as every QB in this draft, but his toughness and leadership puts him in higher regard than the other guys. But that's just my opinion, not a fact by any means.

"primary option" A lot of times that is his best option as they get open that is why they become his "primary option" He gets rid of the ball quick enough and they make plays that way. A guy does't have to go through his reads if he is moving the chains and have successful scoring drives. Geno Smith was pretty good at that. I fail to see that being much of a flaw. When a QB can deliver a ball to the "primary option" on a consistent basis, that is a good thing. Plays are designed to get the ball to the "primary otpion" arn't they? If his "primary option" is getting open frequently then why does he need to go through all his options? |

I agree, but part of that is due to how much faith he has in his receivers. Austin and Bailey were better than the guy covering the most of the time.

Honestly IMO he should have looked at every wr available on any given play at least once before throwing the ball.
