Just like everyone had given up on Hosmer, Moose, Gordon, and on, and on, and on...

And sure there are plenty of examples of guys who never get it... but there's also tons of players who hit their prime at 26 or 27 years old. Pitchers can be such a crapshoot. The talent is clearly there.

Duffy is too much of a head case. His stuff is fantastic but he can be cruising & just lose it. He can never get it back either. I'd have pulled him after the 2nd hit. We all knew what was going to happen.

Since your responding to me, I'm going to guess that you incorrectly assume I was one of those people. Again, I hope I'm wrong about Ventura. Yes, tk, he is young and may turn it around. Yes, it's an assumption by me, based on observation, that he won't be a much better stater than he is now. No, I don't know that for a fact.
