That is where I stay when I go on long trips to LV without friends. Super duper cheap and clean. No resort scam (fee). Easy in and out with rental car.
Resort fees are the biggest ripoff in America today, if you exclude stuff that Hillary Clinton is involved with.

Yep. And they keep going up each year. Aria is charging $35.86 this year. The entire strip has doubled their resort fees in the last 2 years. You used to be able to just request to have them removed and they'd do it. Not anymore. I guess if you are a high roller like Simply Red, and have a diamond card or whatever top tier card, they will remove 'em. Starting June 1st, MGM properties are even going to start charging $10 - $20 for SELF PARK. Ugh.

Just wait until the new stadium is built.

It'll cost non-residents even more money.

I'd rather Vegas have an NBA, NHL, MLB team before an NFL team. In that order. But I guess anything is better than none.

Not surprised.

BeauWillie would stay in a 1920's flophouse if the price was right.

That area, not good, but Motel 6 there is not bad. No frills, and it's clean. $55 a night (no resort fee) compared to $150+ a night at a low end strip hotel. Other hotels around there are not very clean, such as the America's Best Value Inn. As long as it's clean and has parking close, all I care about. I sleep there 5 hours a night when I'm in Vegas, which is usually just to play poker. Otherwise if I'm with the GF or friends I'll stay at Venetian, Aria or Bellagio. But when I'm by myself, I GNFs where I stay.

Last year I stayed at the Motel 6 there, and then 10 days later some friends showed up and I stayed at Bellagio for 4 days. From bed bugs to riches lol

I think this couldn't have worked out any better for me, a Los Angeles resident from KC. The Rams are in LA and I don't mind cheering for them, it somehow is okay because they aren't a rival and it sort of screws St. Louis in the process which is an added benefit.

Simultaneously if San Diego builds a beautiful new stadium in Gaslamp and the Raiders build a stadium on the bodies of dead hookers next to Hooters that means I can watch two games every year in San Diego and Vegas, two vacations I go on every year anyway.

I'd be ecstatic.

i think an nfl team would make a killing in vegas

tourists and conferences can fill half the stadium 8 times a year, easy

definitely be less of a home team environment, but a money machine..how fun would it be to drink and gamble, go to an nfl game, then drink and gamble some more?

Are the citizens of Las Vegas dick-hole enough to be the Raiders' home? It's hard to find the density of assholes like you can in Oakland, so I'm not sure they can remain the Raiders.

All the drunks should be able to recreate the piss smell of the Colosseum, so those in the black butthole will feel at home.
