Sure. Still doesn't change what I said. If the Bengals are the 3rd most talented team in the AFC, then the Chiefs are even with them or pretty damn close.

The gap between the WR and TE play alone puts the Bengals well ahead of the Chiefs. On the other hand, if you're trying to look at Poe and Atkins, you're not looking at any major edge, and the same is true at QB. You're basically trying to argue that slight advantages in a couple of areas make up for overwhelming disadvantages in several others. |

Houston, Hali, and Ford vs. Burfict and Lamur? What about Derrick Johnson vs. Mauluga? Those are slight advantages?

What about it? Bernard was a quality overall back, and Green-Ellis is an excellent short yardage guy.
Meanwhile, for comparison, you've got Green, Gresham, Eifert, Sanu and company in comparison to Bowe, Avery and the rest. |

Correct? Do you even think it's close? BTW... Green Ellis is most likely going to be cut after training camp so that pushes it in the Chiefs favor even more. And yes, their WRs are better than ours. I haven't said different. But we also have positions in which we're better than them at. In the end, both teams come out even or close to even.

Ellis and Bernard had 7 more yards from scrimmage combined than Charles had by himself.

I didn't say that.

Your argument is pretty much like saying "Yes, Brady's better than Tyler Bray, but we've got them beat at ROLB, so we match up pretty well." Last edited by Just Passin' By; 08-04-2014 at 02:16 PM.. |
