I am commenting on a game that I watched and that I remember. Kaepernick was the best player on the field that day DESPITE these stats you quoted. Matt Stafford threw for 5000 yards and 41 TDs one year. Does that mean he's Tom Brady? |

First, they have to in order to perpetuate this false narrative that Alex Smith is better than he really is, and that SF made the wrong decision. Second, he has tattoos and wore a Miami Dolphins hat once. Christ, this place bashes our best WR because he points at the back of his jersey, as if that's some crime against humanity. I'd murder a kitten to have a young QB like him that can completely take over a game. |

if you purely rate QBs based off of championships or playoff success I can't take you seriously
there are way too many variables in football to just pin a win or a loss on one player...even the QB Joe Flacco is not a great QB because Rahim Moore sucks. |

@ Hootie 2.0, How about championship MVPs?
Of course it is a team game but...

I think Eli is underrated...so I'm not sure what you want me to say.
He's definitely not a top 5 QB, though. |

When you watched the game, did you notice Kaepernick's three 4th quarter turnovers? A horribly under thrown ball picked by Chancellor, his getting stripped by Avril when he tried to remember what a second read is after your primary receiver is covered, and his throwing of a fade pass against the best CB in the league because he has no idea how to read a defense. Those aren't stats brother. Those are facts.

the throw to Crabtree was not a bad throw, just a bad result. That happens in football sometimes.
The Chancellor pick was a terrible, terrible, terrible throw. I guess I'll take a guy who manhandles Aaron Rodgers in the postseason...and has been 4 yards away from winning 1 Super Bowl and 1 throw away from going to another. You know, in fact...the Hawks/49ers game was pretty much the Super Bowl last year...and Kaep played at a disadvantage (brutal home field over there) and was still the best player on the field. and I am saying that having an unhealthy man crush on the QB for the Seahawks |

and if that means the guy can't read defenses...so be it, I guess
because whatever he's doing out there is certainly working and it has certainly worked against "we'll make every excuse in the book when he loses in the playoffs" Rodgers. so let me get this right the only thing that matters when judging a QB is playoff success unless you're Colin Kaepernick |

or if you're Brady or Rodgers if you lose in the playoffs it's ok because it clearly has nothing to do with QB play since Brady and Rodgers are so clutch and so amazing in the postseason
must be the offensive line or the lack of weapons at their disposal Kaepernick on the other hand... |
