You do realize they look to a hitting coach for a signal with every at bat right? Hitters aren't necessarily going to be able to process all the strategy of a various scenario. They're just going to think "2-0 look for my pitch".

However I realize that sending a hitter a take signal on 2-0 is pretty unorthodox and is probably a grave insult in baseball's unwritten rules. I'm just venting on the internet.
