Lets not preach - I think its still a a free country. Just dont respond if you dont like it. I think it was more out of humor than anything else. At least thats how I took it. Wonder why you took it differently?

The Chiefs haven't signed anyone. There isn't much of a choice to salivate over so you might as well get excited over the Muslim Marauder!

For everyone not excited about Abdullah, Berry will likely be out of the box/LB in subs thanks to Abdullah.

It's the other safety spot that needs worry. 4 ways to look at it:
1. They sign Manning to play FS with Commings in subs.
2. They draft a player to play FS
3. They draft an ILB that can cover, moving Abdullah to S.
4. They decide to play 0 the whole year because safeties aren't really safe at all

What are your thoughts on Abdullah, the offseason etc. You've been a ghost lately.

I'm finishing up the Indy game. That should be posted this weekend.

Abdullah looks solid playing the D (lulz Rex) in subs in that game.

Off-season seems pretty similar to how GBs have been recently. Not a whole lot of activity. Would like to see Manning signed for depth.

It makes since that most of the FA moves would be second wave, JAGS. Chiefs don't have the cash and aren't willing to flex the contracts to bring someone in. I like Manning for depth as well. Fox'll probably be brought in. Not exciting. But WAIT TILL THE KICKASS DRAFT!!!

That's one of the positives of Abdullah. He's played all safety spots, the nickel, and the D (ILB). Everything but CB.

I really hope they explore finding an ILB like a Christian Jones, Telvin Smith, Jerimiah George, Kevin Pierre Lewis, Andrew Wilson....even if it's a guy like Smith or George who would be undersized for the base but more of a Woodyard or Donnie Edwards type that excells in coverage and gives them the option of having two ILB's on the field in some situations instead of having to put a safety out there in that spot.

Similar to the thought out there that Aaron Donald would be a poor fit in the base scheme when he would garner plenty of snaps as much as they will be in sub sets and really add to the defense

He's a guy who could play outside in the 34 but really could excell inside as well. Probably not so much at the mike but next to DJ in sub sets and also fill in at OLB to spell Houston and Hali in the base. He's sideline to sideline always around the ball
