I couldn't get a sprint line out last night from the stadium, but the flag they had out was huge.
Also Mike Phillips and his sax rendition of the SSB was beautiful.

This plan is probably too out there for a team that is very likely headed to the World Series even without these kinds of aggressive tactics. I'd probably have a more compelling case for this strategy if the Royals were down 3-0 instead of up 3-0, and Yost's team can probably advance just by letting his starters pitch in their normal roles, trusting his team to not lose four games in a row, especially since it is undefeated in the playoffs so far.
Interesting idea, though.

Not sure I've ever heard someone hold a note as long as he did while waiting for the flyover.

Only problem with throwing Shields today is if you lose, then what? You've burned two starters and have three games left... with basically only one starter left, if you count Duffy out. All to avoid a statistic with a two game sample size. Are we sure this guy isn't an Orioles fan?

I'm so worthless right now (work).

I'm not leaving here until 2...

Also, damn it's good to have a neighbor who works for the team and is convinced you're a lucky charm!
