I certainly hope this coaching staff and front office aspires for something better than Andy ****ing Dalton.

Walterfootball now mocking Joeckel to KC instead of Geno Smith. Saying we will give up a 3rd maybe even a 2nd to Philly for Foles. If we draft LT and trade our 2nd for Foles...I think I'll puke. Guess I just don't understand why you wouldn't draft Smith even if you aquire Foles in FA with a LT already in place that you can either resign or tag... |

Why not? Surely there are people in places besides ChiefsPlanet who think Geno Smith is a no-brainer first pick. Reading all the reports from well-versed, intensely-interested draftniks here, I can't imagine that there's not at least a couple of GMs out there who would trade the farm for the chance to draft him.

I'm on the Geno wagon because I think the kid has elite accuracy, a plus armn which improves when he corrects his footwork, and good mobility. I think it all adds up to top 10 QB potential. I only used Dalton to illustrate the huge difference in impact betwen QB and all other positions, including LT.

I didn't say that you absolutely can not find that guy with that approach. I said it's not likely. The fact that it happened once doesn't make it likely. It'd be like going into the draft believing you will. Find the next Tom Brady in the sixth round because that's wher Brady was drafted.

If Reid thinks Nassib will be a better pro than Smith, I'm absolutely going to argue. Because it's dumb. |

Geno and Glennon are likely to go in the top 10. You think Barkley and Wilson BOTH make it through the next 22 picks? I don't. |
