What do you think of the Wii U? I've dicked around with one a few times and the graphics are pretty damn good. I was considering it for my son a while back. He loves playing the original wii's baseball game.
I know Nintendo has taken a severe hit with it but I'm thinking it's due to poor marketing. They've got a pretty good lineup of games available now, though. |

I haven't played an AC since Revelations. The gameplay just got far too monotonous but the story lines are usually pretty cool and I love the fictional history aspect so I make it a point to watch the "game movies" on YouTube once they're released. Watching video of the new Unity has me fiending to buy a PS4 and scoop it up. |

Black Flag is good if you like the pirate themes. I'm seriously considering Unity too. I'm going to wait a few days and watch the gameplay online, then I'll make a decision. If it's like the GP vid I posted, it's sold already. |

Oh and guys, let me know if you still want me to post the reviews. If you're getting anything from them, etc. They're a little rough but I was never a great author. Lol
Just be glad the spelling/grammar is somewhat decent. |

I like your reviews.
As far as Black Flag, I loved the ships, but still hate the overall gameplay. The chase missions where, oh no you desynced for instant fail, are so dumb. I cannot believe they kept them in for 4 games. Overall I hate the controls of the entire AC series so I never really loved any of them.

I liked AC 3 better than some of the other AC titles for a few reasons. The tomahawk had kickass animations and I kinda liked the hunting stuff.
The story was comprehensible. The other AC titles have all these French and Italian names of dudes I couldn't keep up with. I guess I should know my history better, but it's tough to keep everyone straight when you can't pronounce the guys name you are killing. AC 3 had familiar characters, and I could actually pronounce their names. The Revolutionary war is very familiar history which led to a bit of a Forrest Gump feel to the game as I stabbed and hacked my way through the story. The gameplay does get a bit repetitive, and the main character had little to no charisma, unlike like some of the other AC titles, but overall I enjoyed it quite a bit. I've been waiting for a steam sale for Black Flag. I also have a few other AC titles that I haven't even played yet. |

The first had to be the worst, easily. That game was so ****ing boring. Altair was boring as shit, the missions were boring as shit, the locations were boring as shit, being Al-Mualim's bitch was boring as shit..
I think my favorite was probably Brotherhood. We talked about it in the AC thread but the side quest of finding the secret about the first civilization completely dominated my play time at one point. I couldn't figure that shit out fast enough. |

I also played the DLC which wasn't worth the effort but kinda cool. Black Flag is my favorite thus far. I truly hope Unity has new combat mechanics. |

I find these reviews very helpful. Might not be the most technical and all that crap but they're informative where it counts. More than that though, I trust these reviews more than the gaming websites. I believe the reviews on here are honest takes and that counts more than anything. Please keep it up.

Thanks guys. I'm playing Alien Isolation currently. I'll let you know what's up there.
My first impressions were not good but I gave it another chance... So far I'm glad I did. |

I was so looking forward to DriveClub but I'd seen some sketchy reviews on it. Didn't see much on here but did see the reviews about Shadow of Mordor. Picked that up instead and glad I did. I may just wait until the next Gran Turismo comes out. Whenever that is.
