And how many playoff wins and Super Bowls did two of the best offensive tackles in the history of the NFL win exactly? |

If Luke Joeckel were either one of these guys, I probably would favor taking him 1st. Or at the least... that wouldn't be a bad pick, you'd be set for a decade plus and they'd legitimately raise the level of your offense. There are plenty of Super Bowl teams that had 1st round picks at LT. The Ravens this past year had former 1st round picks at both tackles. The correct answer is 1) Joeckel is probably not Willie Roaf, and even if he is 2) we already have a 1st round LT who has developed and performed at a very high level, despite the calls from some fans to replace him with guys like Russell Okung. |

I also have to disagree with the people saying he just doesn't have the right attitude, or flash, or personality, or whatever the **** they're expecting from a QB. So he's not an arrogant prick, or a cry baby. He says yes sir and no sir. He's calm and collected, rather than dancing around like Stabbin' Ray. So he dosn't have "pizazz". So what. He's not being drafted for jazz hands you reeruned ****s. I like his personality. Kid is respectful of his seniors. Appears attentive and focused. Seems intelligent. I'm OK with picking him 1.1.

Gotta be fair here, neither is Roaf or Montana, but in the same vein, I'll always prefer the QB over the LT given the same quality of player at their respective positions.

Yes, really. Here's some pretty pictures for you to look at. One of these guys even has a Super Bowl ring, through very little fault of his own. You tell me, of the 5 guys that we've posted pictures of, which one would you take with the 1.1 pick if they were all coming out in the 2013?

I've seen you be just as "militant" over in the DC forum. The only difference is you don't say "Die in a fire," which shouldn't make you any better or worse. You still endlessly troll people and make sarcastic bitch remarks just like I do when you encounter something you find ridiculous. What you're advocating for when you wish the Geno mafia weren't so "militant" is that the Geno fans would respect the opinions of people like RunKC even though those opinions ****ing suck. The best lesson I ever learned came in high school English class. My teacher taught us that the "No opinion is wrong" mantra shoved down our throats by the happy hunky-dory everybody-gets-a-ribbon folks is ****ing wrong. You CAN have a wrong opinion. It happens all the time. Opinions can suck, and sometimes they're not even opinions if they're REALLY ill-supported. So get off whatever high horse you THINK you're on when it comes to the evil Geno mafia. You're just as ****ing bad. |

Yeah... Joeckel wasn't even the best OT on his college team. Geno was the best QB in college last year. I'd take Geno. |

Yeah, didn't know whether to laugh or cry at that. Decided his post was pure trolling and not worth responding too.

Finally watched the video in the OP.
God, I want Geno Smith on this team so badly. It's not even funny. I've made my peace with the strong possibility that he won't be a Chief. I get it. Doesn't change the fact that I want him. Wherever he ends up, I'll follow his career. Maybe he'll bust, but I just have a good feeling about the guy. |
