Remember Dorsey came from the Packers ala drafting Rodgers in the first round when they had Favre. I feel like this is the same situation. All signs are pointing to Geno right now.

It's fun to think about, but there is no chance they are taking Geno at 1.

I'll go ahead and tell you what the Redskins gave up. They gave up THREE first round picks and a second round pick. Do you understand? THREE FIRST ROUND PICKS AND A SECOND ROUND PICK. And then they used a fourth round pick to draft Kirk Cousins. How did that work out for the Redskins again? Did they make the playoffs? Do they have a bright future with a quarterback who looks like he'll be elite? If the Chiefs wind up giving up a first round pick for Geno Smith and two second round picks for Alex Smith, I'd say they did a helluva job. They will have created one of the best quarterback situations in the NFL, and they'll have done it a hell of a lot cheaper than the Redskins did. Geno Smith sitting behind Alex Smith for a year and some change wouldn't be a whole lot different that Colin Kaepernick sitting behind Alex Smith for a year and some change. How did that work out for the 49ers again? If you'd quit slobbering on Luke Joeckel's knob long enough to look at what the successful NFL teams are doing, you'd understand that. |

QB is the most important position on the field by far and now we've got people crying that it would be too much to invest in it? **** that. Throw as many resources as possible to get it fixed, the rest of the team around it is good enough to compete now.

I can't see them bringing Geno Smith to KC for a 2 day workout as a smokescreen.
I wonder if Clark will be there. Remember when he said they missed Geno at the senior bowl? |

Yeah I wonder what Clarks part is in the whole thing. Maybe he's put down the mandate to fix the QB position. "Get me a starter, viable backup and then draft the best QB and develope him!" We can only hope.

What do the Chiefs do with the first pick?
what do the chiefs do with the first pick in the draft? do they find a trade partner? do they draft geno smith to groom? do they take their premiere left tackle and play him at right tackle for one year? or do they improve their defense on the line? i would love feedback from the fans and would truley appreciate your feedback. you guys are welcome to any of my Chiefs content as well and feel free to resond back to me or directly on my site. should you decide to vote on my site at profootballexpress.com

There were two high ranking officials from the Chiefs at Genos pro day. Reid and Dorsey were at another pro day..

oh yes i know quite the puzzling questions i know. lol. I am merely getting the input back from the fans themselves and posting the results on my site. what better way to find out then ask the chiefs fans themselves? but yes you are correct, very thought provoking lol.
