But, it is going to be hard to compare it to the book for me - since I've really only read ~1/2 of it or so.

at Joplin they have dual showings at 8pm and 10pm tonight.

Lately a few of the big summer movies have begun screening at 7 or 8PM the night before the official opening. It's to jack up the official Friday numbers and help generate excitement and interest.
