I think there's an interesting application of game theory occurring that's causing some lower tier guys to get bid up too high. Unfortunately I'm part of the problem.
There are some positions where I need some depth and have 4 or 5 guys I would be happy with. I keep bidding up those 4 or 5 guys because I don't want any of them to fall off the board. There are 2-3 other teams doing the same thing. If we'd all just pick a guy and make a fair offer, we'd all get off cheaper. |
