I can understand having Moustakas and Hosmer in the lineup because those guys are just kids, but Frenchy needs to be somewhere other than the regular lineup. A few days ago I was seriously considering flying to KC for the games this weekend. Glad I didn't. I'm too much of a diehard to quit on this team. While watching them live in Oakland earlier this month, I realized how many of their best players were born after the Royals' last appearance in the playoffs. Frenchy's not one of them. He's too old for the Royals to have him in the everyday lineup dragging down the team's chances. |
