Don't laugh at ME on this. I am never an advocate of either philosophy being the gospel. I have always said, different years, different drafts dictate different strategy. Here's how I have always looked at it:
1- If you are an established team with no obvious holes ==> Draft BPA (maintenance mode) 2- If you are a totally starting from scratch team ==> Draft BPA 3- If you are a few positions away from being an established team ==> Draft for positions |
