In the last 30 years, going back to the 1983 draft, the #1 pick has been traded:
1983 Bitchass Elway cries his way out of Indy. Obviously Indy lost big time. 1984 Pats traded 2 first rounders to get the #1 pick. Selected Irving Fryer. Bengals got Pete Koch and Brian Blados. Cincy loses. 2001 Chargers traded #1 pick to Falcons for Vick. Got LT and Brees. Didn't win shit. Falcons made the NFC title game, then Vick went to jail. Chargers lost. 2004 Chargers traded Eli for a shitload of pro-bowlers. Lost big time. The point is when a team trades out of the top slot you get your ass handed to you. ALWAYS. There's a reason it doesn't happen very often. But true fans like Frankie can convince themselves otherwise.... |

We aren't trading the pick, it won't happen the only way someone wants the pick is if Geno lights it up on his pro-day then it won't matter cause we will take him. With a deep draft like this one nobody is giving up picks unless they are blown away by a player and their is nobody close, in this draft all positions are fairly close but QB

The Chiefs would love to trade down.
This is probably the worst year in a long time to have the #1 overall pick. The team will make the pick and just look around the room at each other and shrug their shoulders like eh? What else were we gonna do? And the LT will bust and be released just like Jake Long is gonna be after 4 years. Here is my Opinion. Reid would take Geno if it were his call. Dorsey/Clark won't let him.

...or they judge that the underwhelming QB crop this year contains no Brady or RoDgers
