The Washington Redskins select George Iloka, S, Boise State
With Landry being a free agent and Atogwe getting cut the Redskins are extremely thin at safety. |

With a need for a starting right tackle and with the options dwindling, we have to make a move. This kid got injured more than I'd like for a guy the Dolphins will depend on the man the RT spot from day one, but he is a player when healthy.
I was awfully tempted to double up on drafted qbs and take Kirk Cousins here because the value for him in the 4th is damn good and I wouldn't be a bit shocked to see him go 2 rounds sooner than this in the real draft....but I can't ignore a need when a valuable talent is there that can fill it. In the 4th round of the 2012 NFL draft, the Miami Dolphins select: OT Andrew Datko, Florida State |

Good pair of picks.
I think Mosley's a sleeper with LT potential. |

Geez. I didn't hear last call for offensive tackles.
Whatever. Seattle finally addresses the biggest need of the draft since there's at last a player worth selecting at the spot. Very high floor, lowish ceiling. Not as good as Ricky Stanzi, but Seattle's gotta start somewhere with finding a new QB. This guy's adequate as a backup, and if Seattle doesn't find a legitimate starter, he may very well challenge for the starter spot later in the season/next season. Seattle Seahawks select Kirk Cousins, QB, Michigan State |

If Kansas City didn't have Stanzi, Cousins would've been a fantastic pick.

The Kansas City Chiefs select Jonathan Massaquoi, OLB/DE, Troy.
The Chiefs lack depth at the OLB position. Maassaquoi is raw and rough around the edges....but he definitely has the potential. |

i agree...his ceiling is probably average starter/good backup...but still, there's value in that

Draft looks pretty damn good for Seattle. Kuechly and Branch will both likely be Day One starters with excellent discipline in stopping the run. Seattle loses nothing by letting one of their free agent LBs walk, and in the process they also gain two options for rushing the passer. More needs to be done in that department, but it's off to a good start.
Green is a big target with good hands and speed-- something they were lacking from Miller last year. He'll take time to get better at his blocking, but until then he will also help out whatever crap QB they start. Cousins at the very least is an option who provides some depth. Seattle was never going to get anything more than that out of this draft. Personally, I think Cousins is the most NFL-ready QB after Luck and RGIII. He might even get a chance as a starter some day. But in the mean time, I'm relying on Seattle to go get Flynn or a deposed starter by way of Peyton Manning. They also may be content with TJack for one more season. |
