I love it. It looks like they're going in a new direction with it this season.

Some of them are remarkably dry, but Karl is pretty funny regardless.
The first season had his trip to the Great Wall of China, probably the single funniest episode Ive ever seen. I think the phone calls back to Ricky and Stephen while he's out in the middle of nowhere is completely hilarious.

IF you can find them, the episodes of The Ricky Gervais Show on radio where they interview Karl are classic. If you can't find the radio bits themselves, HBO animated them for TV.

That 'bungee' jumping those dudes were doing on Vanuatu was ****ing insane.
As opposed to rigorously engineered setups we see in modern places that slow your descent gradually, they were jumping off a 10 story frame of tree branches with vines tied their ankles and getting jerked to a stop like inches from the ground, like a dog who sprints to the end of his leash.

that didn't look nearly as dangerous as the balloon ride Warwick took on.

As viewing continues, my central question comes into focus. Would you trade places with Karl? Where's your breaking point? What would you revel in? What would just endure 'just because?'

The sight of him screaming 'you ****ing twats' on the plane wing walk kills me every episode.
EDIT to add: Karl saying you're touching a lung during his prostate exam might be the funniest line I've heard in a while. That, or his super power combo of super hearing to pick out bullshit being said around the globe, the ability to fly to where it's being said, and the ability of people know him calling bullshit was the truth. The Pilkingon experience in a single reaction shot
