So, did I make the right decision?
No.

I didn't buy L4D, and zombie games don't really do it for me, but I'd venture to say Gears and Fallout are far better buys. Far better.

I have Left 4 Dead, it's pretty fun.....some of it will remind you of the Dawn of the Dead movie..the recent one not the old one.

The only game mentioned here I don't have is Fallout 3...

And where do you get free gamer points I could use some.

I haven't run across any in a while now. The first set came from a Dodge Challenger website for designing your own car each day. The second set was for signing up for Gamefly for a month, which I was going to do anyway.

I was this >< close to getting Fallout, but opted for L4D just because of Valve (huge Half Life geek). I'm going to wait a bit for GoW2, mostly because I'm backed up on games that I want to finish first.

So, Mecca and Bowser. What're your guys thoughts about L4D?

Personally, I love the game. I usually only play campaign with buddies. I just with the game was a bit longer - meaning I beat each level in like 5-6 hours. I like the fact that nothing rejuvenates in the same spot and it's all mostly random.

To me, with L4D the replay value is always going to be there.

I've only just gotten into it, but it's pretty intense, right from the jump. It will be a fun play for awhile.

Something tells me this will be a bargain bin title within 4 months.

What titles aren't in the bargain bin after 4 months?

But if you are implying that Left for Dead won't sell well....you're wrong.

I think it will do well for the first month and then die off fast.

Then it's just like 95% of games on HD consoles. Almost all games not sold to a casual audience have the majority of their sales in the first month.

The game isn't going to disappoint in sales. It's a FPS from a popular developer with a large marketing campaign.

An assortment of videogame only deals for tomorrow sorted by store and then system. If I were so inclined, Dead Space for $30 at Target looks like a good deal. I just don't want to elbow a granny in the neck at 5 AM.
