Massey is definitely coming back when it's time. He's the best 2nd base option we have.

I don't disagree, but the question remains, who goes away? You know it isn't likely to be Hampson or Frazier, because they're both under contract, which pretty much means Loftin is the odd man out. I'd rather have Loftin on the team than either Hampson or Frazier, but I digress...

Yeah, that's why those kinds of signings are really annoying. Hampson and Frazier are both terrible and have always been terrible. They should be DFAd and put in AAA. No one will pick them up.

Yup. And you can count on the Royals making at least one or two of these types of "huh?" signings every single year.

Nah. Hampton is a perfectly serviceable utility backup type player. You need a guy or two like that. Frazier can **** right off, however. Loftin needs regular at bats to see if he has the potential to be better than a Hampton or Frazier type player. He’ll go get those in Triple A and be back later this season.

Loftin is better than both right now and is exactly the type of utility player this team needs. Not some shit burger like Hampson. Wtf does Hampson do that Loftin can't? Loftin can play basically every position and only makes $740k. Hampson makes $2 mil to play like shit. Ok he can play multiple positions shitty.
