Burning down the trailer park is LITERALLY the lyrics in a song about Losers. . .
Beck even sang it for you in American AND Mexican, in case you had comprehension impairment.

I coached baseball for over a decade in a pretty tough league and really only had one major meltdown with fans/parents. We were the away team so we were in the left field dugout and most of the families were seated on that side. That night I played our worst player in right field and batted him 10th (we had an EH rule). After the game, I was confronted by a very angry helicopter mom because her kid was so far away from the crowd that the grandparents could hardly see him and he only got to bat 3 times. I tried to explain to mom that we'd run ruled the other team and that's why he only batted 3 times. Pretty soon Grandpa decided he was going to join in the fray because he'd driven 50 miles to see the kid play. It didn't go well and pretty soon mom had another mom in her face (no hair pulling or anything fun like that) and Grandpa was escorted out of the park. Needless to say, the kid was excused from the team.

My goodness. Parents can be pretty big douchebags I suppose. Just let your kids go out and have fun!

Amen.

Unfortunately sometimes it’s necessary. Sucks for the kid but if their family is abusive or outta control you can’t keep them.

Justified. Punishing the parents is the only way some of them learn.
Wish we could do that in school.

Sure did and any other reasonable coach would have done the same. When security has to be called to escort someone out of the park, that's a distraction to the rest of the kids and an embarrassment to the team.
