Is that the only kind of frozen pizza they sell at your store?

Price bud - pretty good value here - let's get into that now. How much are they going for? Around the Atlanta metro - you can still get them 'on sale' for .99 cents at Publix or Kroger- I believe Walmart's everyday low price is around $1.17 per -

Well that's good - I lost everything in January - except my automobile. So yeah - I will get back there soon.

So the people that make Totino's finally realized that adults don't eat Totino's pizzas and that college kids don't have the patience to wait for an oven to pre-heat.
So they made them the size/shape of a toaster oven. That. Is. Brilliant. I can't think of any other reason to make them square. When I was in college I used to cut a side off it and slide it alongside the rest of the pizza so it would fit in my toaster oven. It sure looks like future generations of broke/hungover/still drunk college students won't have to deal with this dilemma. G'damn they have it easy. You can just swipe right for easy pussy and your $1 pizza already fits your toaster oven. Assholes.

It's less of a pain in the ass to divide equal portions as well.

May save a little on packaging, sure (production seems unlikely), but how much can you possibly save on the 10% reduction in packaging? Afterall, they could've gone to plastic bags without actually changing the shape so the only real difference would've been a nominal reduction in materials.
It would sure seem to take a long time to recover any re-tooling costs associated with making the product a different shape AND the packaging. Not to mention any consumer backlash because there's ALWAYS consumer backlash to change, no matter how small.
