FF Football : who are you taking this year

For me I always have followed my method of drafting the same every year. I play in a 12 man league that has been on going for 6 years. Normal point format.

I always take THREE RB's in the first three rounds. I have won the chip twice in 6 years and made it to playoff every year but one.

This year the top three I'm looking at are....

Zeke The Freak - Round 1
Lamar Miller - Round 2
Justin Forrset - Round 3

(This is assuming I'm picking around number 7 in a snake draft format.)

Who are some sleepers you think I should look out for?

In standard scoring you may be looking at Gurly or Jamaal Charles in the 7th pick. I've landed AP and Jamaal in PPR mocks with my first 2 picks. Alot of people are high on Ezekiel Elliot and I'm seeing him go in the first, but I just can't pick a rookie in the first. I'd rather gamble the foundation of my team on a proven, albeit injury risk, Jamaal if healthy. I'm also a chiefs homer so ......yeah. Sleeper wise, Jay Ajayi, Duke Johnson, and man I gotta believe Asian Foster has to be a good draft and stash. I just find it hard to believe that he won't be playing somewhere, and if healthy, he could be a late steal. And if not, probably won't cost you much anyways.

my sleeper will be Jags players this year, Bortles, Hurns, Robertson and TJ Yeldon. I actually think they will have a dominant offense and make a run at the playoffs.

As for the original OP...

Depends on scoring format. As heavily as most leagues weight scoring passing these days, its hard to pass on top playmakers in that facet. Some leagues favor QB scoring, so Bortles is the guy I'd look at there.

At RB, I think Thomas Rawls from Seattle is a guy to take early now that Beastmode has retired. Chris Ivory now going to Jacksonville could be a guy to keep an eye on in round 3. DeMarco Murray might end up a round 4 steal now that he's in Tennessee.

I'd be leery of Justin Forsett. He's 30 years old and the Ravens drafted Kenneth Dixon this year, who will definitely push a committee system.

This is the first year, as I'm walking into the fantasy draft of the league I've been in for 19 years, where I feel so unprepared. I haven't kept an eye on anything really with FA or the draft. So much work to do...

I love Ezekiel Elliot this year. People will be scared because he's a rookie, but if you can get him in the mid-late first he is a steal running behind that OL. Much better RB than Murray IMO.

I love him, I'm just afraid he is going to go higher than I think.
