True that. Would love for him to stay, but if he really insists on being at the top of the food-chain? eh... I don't know about that. My guess is KC really tries hard to keep him, and at the cost of waving g'bye to Sean Smith and Daniel.

He will stay if he gives KC any kind of break... but if he's all about making that top 5 DL money? best of luck to him, and there's the door. With Bailey and Poe.. and potentially Devito and some young talent already there... Howard is not a must-keep.

I say this as someone who most highly praises the guys in the trenches... but it is what it is.

I have no idea how much he's asking. Any player can price themselves out of a job.

Right now, we have 67m dedicated to next years offense and only 41m on defense.

Should equal out to be around 75m on each side.

No reason not to keep 2/3 of Howard, Berry and Smith.

The DL didn't lose the game for us.

The game plan and lack of adjustments did.

The Patriots ran the ball 6 or 7 times(not counting QB scramble)

Quick passing game all day long neutralized our Dline and pass rush.

You don't cover Edelman, you lose.


don't want to hear about hindsight either because this was also said before the game. Anyone paying attention knew what the patriots were going to try to do. We let them.

I think Berry, Johnson and Hali are no-brainers.

The choice is gonna be Howard or Smith.

I think Howard is more valuable the next few years. Having Bailey, Howard and Poe locked up for the next 4-5 years would be huge.

I think we can get by without Allen as well. He's not worth a big contract with being injury prone. I'd like him back but at a fair deal. If he leaves then we have..
