Fallout 4?

Stolen from reddit.....

Quote:
Bethesda just registered http://thesurvivor2299.com/.

The website is a black screen with some morse code playing. The code is 11.12.13, which fans are speculating to be the reveal date of Fallout 4. Also, the year 2299 is close to the date of the last Fallout game, New Vegas.
So, we can pretty much say that it's happening, right?

EDIT: Credit goes for ButcherDX and the rest of the community on r/Fallout.

UPDATE: Countdown just appeared, it ends in 26 days.

You have to have the cap collector perk at level 3 I believe. That allows you to invest 500 caps to get the store going.

I have used a shotgun in vats, aimed at the head of a super mutant 100 yards away and popped his head off. I love this perk!
I just want to vouch that the bell is true and saved me a lot of time in finding my settlers. It was a pain to find in the menu though. I'm not sure about the last part, (don't remember either way) I'll have to look again.

As far as Fallout 4, if you liked Fallout 3, you'll like this. They pretty much moved the game to a new setting, tweaked the level/perks system, and added settlement building. It's not the innovative RPG I was hoping for, but it's been very entertaining so far.
If you played it back when it first came out they've patched out a lot of clunky from the combat. Story takes a hell of a long time to kick off though, can't deny that.

Yea I actually was really disappointed with W3 because of the shitty clunk combat mechanics.

I fired it up the other day after reading about the alternate movement mode and man does it make a difference.

If I had a complaint, it would be that I wish you could see what each settler was assigned to. As it stands now, I assign a random settler to a vendor booth, and I have to make sure my food production doesn't go down because that person was previously assigned to the garden. It was easy to tell them apart when I only had three or four at a settlement. But it's hard trying to remember faces when you've got 17+ at your bigger settlements.
You can actually do that. If you switch to settlement building mode, and highlight and select one of the settlers, the thing they are currently assigned to will be highlighted too. The only quirk is that you have to be standing within sight of what they're assigned to.

My weapon vendors never stand next to their booths but I can still sell stuff to them if I find the settler. My weapon vendor at the castle always stands in the middle by the radio tower even though his booth is in the left corner.

This game needs quite a bit of TLC through patches.

I found a good way to generate caps and generate healing stuff is to set up industrial water purifiers in Sanctuary. You have a do a little bit of scavenging for the parts but so far I have 2 of them and every day or two in game time, it generates around 60 purified waters that go into my workbench. I take some for my inventory and sell the rest in Diamond City for a combination of caps and junk that I can use for upgrades. I also wear a sweet sequin dress (male character, nttawwt) for a charisma boost to get better prices.

Awesome.

There's a paint job you can use on heavy armor that does that as well. I think it's the vault-tech one.

You can buy the Atom Cats armor outright and it has both charisma and running consumes less AP points. Much cheaper than buying the paint job.

One tip for those of you who are always over encumbered...

Your companion will pick up anything you tell them to even if they are over encumbered. I like finding putting all of the junk I'm hauling around in a container (like a toolbox) and tell my companion to inspect it until he picks everything up.

Also, Dogmeat doesn't count as a companion so you can benefit from the +100 carry weight perk from Lone Wanderer if you're using Dogmeat.
