Yeah cause he's pushed into random game type action. He's never went into a game prepared to start and with a game plan set for him. Chase has twice.

Surprisingly, QBs get traded around for much less than you'd think, and not just as backup fodder, either.

Ryan Mallett was traded to the Texans after ZERO starts in the NFL.

Matt Hasselbeck was traded to the Seahawks after ZERO starts in the NFL.

Mark Brunell was traded to the Jaguars after ZERO starts in the NFL.

Matt Schaub had two starts before being traded to the Texans.

I'm not saying he's special. But I'd certainly rather start him than a guy like Daniel if I had to. If Daniel was anything special, Saints would have tried to trade him at some point. Or he would have went to another team to start when he was a free agent. Or the Chiefs would have kicked the tires at a trade also.

He's not though. He's just a good backup. There's nothing wrong with that. I wouldn't trade him if I were the Chiefs and I wouldn't trade for him if I were any other team. It's not like the Jets are going to be a playoff team with him instead of Fitzpatrick.
