2015 Fantasy Discussion

Drafts coming up in a couple weeks, and I haven't seen a thread yet.

Was wanting to get some input overrated players/sleepers/strategies etc.

I've been going back and forth on what I want to do with my 2nd rounder. I've done a few mocks, and I really want to take Luck in the 2nd.. but I just can't seem to get as good of a team that route.

Also for the later 1st round who do you take out of CJ Anderson, Jeremy Hill, and Demarco Murray? To me its between Murray and CJ.. Leaning towards Murray. I don't think there will be a huge dropoff for him this year like everyone else seems to think

Not a huge sleeper, but I've been taking Jordan Matthews in just about every mock. I think he is going to have a HUGE year and he will be great value. Even Agholor should be a good late pick. Also Martavis Bryant. I think they finally found the guy to take some pressure off of Antonio Brown. Lastly I like Ameer Abdullah.. he should be a great fit in that offense, and I saw that Bell is going to start the season on the PUP

I certainly wouldn't do it, but there are two different ways to justify it IMO
#1 It's your team and you know he won't be there when it comes back to you (unless it's a two team league) so if you want him, go get him.
#2 He's undoubtedly as safe of a pick as there is and you can't win a league in the first round, but you can damn sure lose it there if your guys busts.

Just thinking out loud. I think if it were up to me I'd prefer to pick the middle of the round.

I drafted in the 11 hole out of 12 this week. 9 RB's were taken ahead of me, I ended up with Rodgers. In the 1 hole I would go Charles.

I play in a two qb league and got the 7th pick yesterday. I was elated to see this mock:

http://espn.go.com/fantasy/football/...ntasy-football

Charles falls to #7 in that mock, and actually, our league values QBs even more. The first three picks were QB's last year, only interrupted when I took Charles fourth.

I think I have a good shot at Charles at 7th this year. Hope so anyway...

(Don't play with any (other) KC homers..)

Well, we start 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE, 2 Flex.

QBs - Romo, Flacco
RBs - Lacy, Forsett, L. Murray, Tevin Coleman, Blue, Starks, Herron
WRs - Cobb, Tate, LaFell, Cruz, Devante Parker, Funchess
TE - Daniels

Love my RBs and getting Romo.

Super iffy on my WRs. Countless times the WR I wanted was picked right before my pick.

I'm drafting #2 in a 10-person league, and you pretty much have to take a RB in that spot since any decent ones will be long gone by the time I get my next pick.

My inner-homer wants to pick Charles in that spot since I'm guessing that Bell will end up going #1.

Peterson should go #1 and toss up between Charles and Bell @ #2

I'm happy picking 9th out of 12. I hate picking early RBs and might go WR/WR hoping I can get something like Brown/Dez.

I think your RB tandem is going to be really good. I think you got some good (presumed) value picks with Forsett, Murray, Coleman, Starks and especially Blue....with Arian Foster's injury, I think Blue is in for a big year. You may end up having to trade one of them for a WR.

Oh, for sure. With pick #6 in a competitive 12 man league I absolutely love my RBs.

How'd your draft turn out?

Looks like Kelvin Benjamin went down with a serious knee injury.. I wonder if Funchess can produce as a rookie? I hated him coming out of college.. And this should boost Olsen's worth
