Find a subject area that you like. For me, I really like the Firefly/Serenity comics because I liked the show.

I own three graphic novels: Civil War, Wanted, and Black Panther/Storm Wedding. I love all three.

I'm no comic aficionado, but I really enjoyed "The Crow" by James O'Barr (what the movie was based on).

There was a recent set set in the Prometheus, Alien, Predator universe called Fire and Stone which was great. You should also read Man Out of Time (Captain America) that's written by Brubaker. If you're interested in reading comics on an iPad and/or believe yourself to be reasonably technically competent drop me a PM. I might have something for you. |

If you don't mind spending a bit of coin, you can subscribe to Marvel Unlimited. It's like $70 for a year and you get access online of thousands of Marvel comics and most all of the big Marvel comic events are on there (Civil War, Infinity Gauntlet, Annihilation, etc). You can read them on your computer or pretty much any tablet.
