Help me become a country person

Lived in Texas now for some time. Find country people to be cool. I've bought some guns, but I was in military so no biggie. I'm now drunk and googling shit like Remington 700s and Toyota Tundras.

Where do I start? I'm a good person and find most of my friends are good people that are from a completely different background. I can't stand city people anymore and think their pretentious behavior is pure muppetry.

Geez. If I'm listening to a woman twanger, I'm going to pick something my parents aren't listening to. I'm going Lucinda Williams.

Riding in the car with Grandma was always a treat because I got to hear the oldies. I grew up in the '80's and '90's, and with my parents we were listening to George Strait, Reba, The Judds, Tim Mcgraw, Alan Jackson. Stuff like that.

With Grandma though, I got to hear stuff like Loretta Lynn, Conway Twitty, and The Statler Brothers.

Aw shit, didn't mean to ruin your mojo. If you could find a young Tanya doing "Would you lay with me?" that would be great. I'm having trouble finding it.

I'm going to get more drunk now and listen to George Jones. This should help you in your country transformation.

Haha no problem just shows you have good taste.

I didn't find what you wanted but I did find this gem... (which I still categorize as a torch song and not Country but it's too good to skip)

Nice. Really smooth voice and a relaxing melody. I wish I could find that video. I just saw it weeks ago. A very cute young Tanya on stage in a nice costume.
