Justin Blackmon is 24. In the four-game stretch in 2013 that he was allowed to play, he put up 413 yards.
Maybe under Gus Bradley, they'll want to part ways. Would you trade Berry for that? |

Eric Decker is 27. Maybe the new front office in 2015 will want to have their own guys?
He's had terrible stats this year with awful QBs, with about 450 yards through nine games. |

Player for player trades are extremely rare so it would be for a pick.
2 and a 4th would probably do it. Player wise, Blackmon or Gordon. I'd prefer they sign him to a long term deal and lower the number though |

Blackmon shouldn't even be in the conversation.

I think Ron Parker is the one who got it started.
If it were up to me, we'd keep Berry. But the new regime has no loyalty to him, and if they're committed to dropping seven guys every pass play, one could argue that the return on the investment simply isn't there. I wouldn't. But I do like to toy with contingencies. |

I've got an idea!
If Parker and Abdullah are so great that they make an All-Pro expendable, why not trade them? Unless of course you don't think anyone would trade for them.....then maybe they aren't so great afterall?

We don't really need draft picks in 2015. |

Good for him. One solid year as a role players doesn't make an All-Pro expendable. Championship teams are teams that are mixed with star players and role players. You need both to succeed. This forum has this uncanny infatuation with glamorizing role players. Just stop already. It's ridiculous.

Apparently Ron Parker makes Berry expendable right?
That must mean that Ron Parker is every bit as good as Berry right? If so, shouldn't be hard to find a trade partner for Parker, and it should bring in just as much value, right?

The results are more important than the axioms. If the Chiefs can score the #1 pass defense in the league without Eric Berry, than Berry by definition becomes expendable. |

And no.
This wasn't a subject until Dane made it a subject. And yes, i do give Dane and other certain posters that much weight, because their opinions sway the opinions of other simpletons on this forum. That's very easy to see.
