****ing serious? Kap has "almost identical stats" to Alex Smith, despite having a better offensive line, and having this to throw to: Anquan Boldin Michael Crabtree Stevie Johnson Vernon Davis Brandon Lloyd Lets not forget he has ****ing Frank Gore behind him as a rush threat. So yeah, sit and tell me that Kap's the better guy when he as INFINITELY GREATER personell around him, but can only muster up "almost identical" stats to Alex Smith who has a barely visible Dwayne Bowe and a scrap heap of scrub wideouts, a TE in Fasano that runs like an upright log, and Kelce who isn't on the field nearly as much as he should be. Keep drinkin and postin son. Night's young and we all need the laughs.

How anyone can assume that he hasn't hit his ceiling, when all of the numbers and results scream that he has is beyond me. they act like this kid is 24, 25 years old. Hes 27, and despite them constantly adding playmakers to his team, doesn't seem to be able to take that leap. meanwhile Alex Smith with far less talent around him, seems to at the very least be getting max from the players he has around him. I could be wrong. I know im a biased Alex Smith ball gargler who can see him do no wrong, and must defend every decision to the DEATH. But, that's just what I see.

And yeah, that's exactly what I looked at, and like I mentioned, his receivers are definitely lagging behind, except for Boldin. So yeah, Kaepernick is probably holding back that offense, so the questions are: 1) Is he smart enough to improve? 2) How significant of an improvement would Smith be? More efficient, probably... full potential of those weapons, probably not. It would be interesting to see, for sure, since so much of the pro debate around Smith isn't about him, but his coaches, WRs, offensive line, etc.

The Badgers are notorious for playing great defense, and utilizing every second of the shot clock on offense. They tempo like that because they aren't capable of getting into the up and down game with other teams, so instead of playing to that, and placating to other teams, they slow the game down. That is what the Chiefs are doing. They are injured on defense, and thin on offensive weapons, and thin on the offensive line, so they milk the drives for all they are worth, while keeping their defense rested, and then when it gets later in games, and teams have to throw more, that allows sudden to unleash hell with the double H'S. The coaching staff is playing perfectly to the roster. people who play fantasy football, and watch sportscenter highlights don't like it, and that's cool, especially in the so called passing golden age of football. Other than Browns fans, I have never seen so many fans pissed off with winning. Now the Chiefs are winning, and its not stylistic enough for some people, and that in itself is Thsickening.

Much like the Chiefs, when the 49ers get away from that, their offense struggles. it was like that when Alex was there. At the time that Alex Smith got hurt, the 49ers had the number one rushing attack in football. Why Jim Harbaugh has to prove that Colin Kaepernick is capable of carrying the team, (he isn't) is beyond me. And, when Harbs leaves, and leaves the 49ers with Kaep, I will giggle. Kaep is incapable of reading the defense pre snap, he has difficulty telling what the coverages are, still has trouble passing from the pocket, lacks touch on the most basic of passes, and panics under pressure. It has no changed. The only difference is, 2 years ago when I was posting this on a niners forum, I was just an Alexsexual ripping on a YOUNG guy who had only started a hand full of games. At what point does it become, you are what you are? He has been starting for two full seasons now, and he doesn't look any better than he did last year. im done with it. This is a Chiefs board, and im glad Alex Smith is here, not there.
