It is possible that season ticket holders may choose to relist their world series tickets on the Royals web site which is why their ticket-selling apparatus is still there, but almost all of them are selling on the secondary market. If the prices start crashing hard to the point where they might not even get face back, then some of them may relist with the Royals out of desperation.

By the way, about 500 tickets abruptly disappeared from stubhub an hour or two ago. I don't think they were sold because if they were selling it would be a steady decline. The numbers haven't budged during the hour or so after the tickets disappeared. More than likely some broker who had a bunch listed on stubhub decided to pull his listings.

Hmmm, been a while since I updated it. Think I'll go do that. I usually hit random on bash.org until I see something that is both brief and very funny.

I'm not so sure that any other ticket will get under $300 unless its hours before the game. The reason why is because after you figure in stubhub's 15% seller's fee and 10% buyer's fee, the breakeven for people who bought cheap seats from the Royals is roughly $330.

We're not buying in, we're laughing at the sellers as they are forced to cut further. As for buying 10 minutes before the game, you'll need a portable printer. They won't accept cell phone tickets, you have to print them out, and most of us don't live near the stadium. For most of us, the deadline to buy tickets or not go at all is the morning of the game.

Do you think there is a way to get actual tickets after the game, somehow? That'd be neat.
A printed 8.5x11 ticket isn't as cool, obviously.

Yeah, a lot of people are gonna sell their season tickets on ebay after the season is over for people who want them as a memento.

No, they do not.
edit: technically MLB has final approval, but they do not tell clubs what to charge. The clubs tell MLB what they will charge and MLB rubber-stamps it with their approval. I suppose if a team proposed charging something absurdly high or low then MLB might say no.
