yah, I think the 556 does more internal damage because it bounces around inside the target causing more tissue damage. However, that being said, I still prefer the larger 762.

I have seen what both rounds do to people..I have seen 12 rounds of 5.56 dumped into someone before they dropped..I have never seen more than 4 rounds of 7.62 needed to drop a person..I would take 7.62 every single day..slower moving heavier round with ballistic tip

I am in possession of my brothers AR 15 right now. I have had it about 4 weeks now and I just went and bought 150 rounds of ammo. I am dying to take it out for a spin.
