I love the draft, although I don't like the depth at nose tackle. I don't think Jaye Howard is the guy to keep Poe from getting gassed this year.

Trai Turner is NOT a starting NFL guard. He shouldn't be as a rookie, anyway. If he is, we've got BIG problems, coupled with the fact that Linkenbach would start on the other side of him.
If Turner and Linkenbach start, we'll have massive OLine problems. HUGE ones. And then people will bitch about it, and we'll be in this exact same ****ing position next offseason, looking to draft two NEW ****ing guards with high draft picks. |

I think Beau Allen from Wisconsin is an underrated nose tackle prospect. The difference in their D when he was in the game vs out was stark. Stout on the line and provides a little rush, too. Will probably be available in the 6th.

Guy can plug a hole though. Personally, I think that Ryan Carrethers from Arkansas State is the guy to look at for the NT position later in the draft. Former wrestler (understands leverage, e.g., Ted Washington, Kelly Gregg), is strong as bull and has a real nose for the play/ball. He's very instinctive in diagnosing the play and gets to the carrier while doing his job in occupying the OL. Has gotten better every single year and was, quite literally, dominant at times this past season. (16 tackles in a single game, 93 total tackles, 8 tfl, 4 sacks) Like Dontari Poe, he was basically a one man gang for the Red Wolves and I think his best football is ahead of him, especially when you pair him with legit NFL level LBs & DEs. IMO, he's one of the most underrated/dark horse players in this draft. Oh, and pretty good draft OP. I'd rather trade back into the top of the second and get Ward versus spending the #23 on him, and like others have stated, I'm not totally sold on Trai Turner as an NFL guard, but I really like the other picks. |

Linkenbach's on a one-year deal for dirt ****ing cheap. That's not the kind of offer you make to a starter. Geoff Schwartz at least got more than a cool million to play for one season. And if Dorsey did bring him aboard because he viewed him as a dirt cheap starting option, why didn't he try to bring him aboard for multiple seasons? Christ, he did that with Dunta Robinson. Get some goddamn continuity on this team. Linkenbach is NOT going to be our starter. He's there to be a reserve. That's ****ing it. Sorry if you hate Allen. I'm not an Allen supporter, but for ****'s sake, this team has way bigger fish to fry than quelling about Allen's missing the horizon of expectations. Jeff Allen is the starter at LG next year like it or not. And Linkenbach (if injuries don't screw us over) will ideally not see the field for one single goddamn meaningful offensive snap. Rishaw Johnson is the starter. Get used to it. |

If Jeff Linkenbach is a starter at guard for Week 1 while Jeff Allen and Rishaw Johnson are still healthy, I'll change my username to Susan for the rest of the season.

Ideally, neither Linkebach nor Allen would be on an NFL field, more or less starting. Pick your poison. Allen sucks ****ing sack. Linkenbach sucks sack. I don't care what one is replaced, but I"d much rather both. I do like the idea of calling you Susan just because.
