It doesn't bother me much, but I could see how it would bother a lot of people.

I thought the ending was pretty great. Was it perfect? No, but is anything? A number of things had to go pretty much impossibly perfect at the end for Walt to get the conclusion he wanted...he had to doctor that sweetener package so that no one saw him do it, and Lydia, but also no one but Lydia took it...he had to park to car on one try just right so that the machine gun in the trunk was lined up perfectly to take everyone standing in the room out...hell, he had to determine a horizontal sweep for the gun ahead of time that was perfect for the size of a building he'd never seen...on and on.

But I was OK with all of that. Part of the "secret" of the show's success is that they got us to buy Walt as an Everyman even as they imbued him with superhuman intelligence, skill, and just plain luck. I was willing to go along with that.

The one thing in the last episode that felt forced...and still does on second viewing...is when the skinhead uncle gets so incensed at Walt's accusation the he had "partnered" with Pinkman that he stops right in the middle of executing Walt to send for Jesse. That felt really forced. Everything in the uncle's persona to that point portrayed him as a calculating, deliberate person. Not one to suddenly ge hopped up over some point of honor dispute with a guy he planned to kill anyway. It feels awkward, false, not right. In a better world they could have done a better job there. But it was still a hell of an ending.

1. Walt could much more easily have crafted the 'perfect' Stevia package elsewhere [we know he can steam open an envelope], and then just slipped it into the sweetener rack while removing all other Stevia pacs.

2. The show took pains to show Walt carfully positioning the car, over the [mild] protestations of Mr. AB [no, just pull straight in, . . . awww **** it].

The viewer is bludgeoned over the head with the fact that the ricin is in the packet. We don't need to see how it got there, because the way it's shown lets us know that it's in there. We know Lydia is a creature of habit and we know Walt knows this.

I loved the entire show aside from the scene at the the AB compound. i thought the machine gun in the trunk was a really cool concept but executed poorly. that rig looked really flimsy with long arms. was that door mechanism made of titanium? I cant believe that thing held the gun so steady that there wasn't an inch of bullet spread nor muzzle climb.

everything the AB said and did felt forced. Todd was the lone exception. his emotionless utterance of Mr White was perfect.

Every time Lydia went into the place there was NEVER Stevia inside the containers, she always had to ask for it, she knew this place had it but the tables she sat at never had it ( I don't think)

So when she first sat down and there was 1 packet in there - that is when I knew..

Todd was a bit of an odd duck ('a bit' by sociopath standards), I would have been at least a state away about 2 hours after he shot the little kid on the motorcycle until he was push up daisies.

That naive small town boy personality coupled with the baby face and cold blooded and somewhat calculated (let's face it the bar was set pretty high for assassinations here) killer freaked me out a little bit.

When you could make my hair stand up over TV that's some real good acting.

Never seen 'Friday Night Lights' but may have to check it out over the coming cold months. When he was sitting at the table with Lydia and didn't know how to talk to her but obviously found her attractive but yet would probably kill her in a moments notice....that's what makes it weird.

You could read Jessie, Mike (my favorite character) and even Walt as a manipulator if not for the cold blooded killer he was but Todd may have fallen off my radar easily in real life.

I know it's fiction but he was a creepy. Best show since The Sopranos IMHO.
