Alex Smith Traded to Chiefs
Well, it looks like the deal is done.
https://twitter.com/intent/user?scre...w_p=tweetembed Jay Glazer @JayGlazer 49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith Jay Glazer @JayGlazer Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith. |

My theory is that Andy Reid will change to a run first offense under Smith. Smith can't run what Reid did in Philly, but Reid won't make him do that. It's a guarantee failure.

The Broncos get Peyton Manning for free and the Chiefs give up 2 2nd round picks for Alex Smith.
JFC I hate this team.

The only hope is that the next time Alex Smith gets injured, it will be career ending.
And I will cheer. |

Reid is bringing Alex Smith in to run a pass heavy oriented offense. He's not going to try and hide him with a heavy running game. |

I find it unjustifiable, but it doesn't mean I'm talking about shitting on other posters and entirely dismissing all other views...with idiotic hyperbole. It makes us all sound like dumb rednecks, which we aren't (most of us).

This is what Alex is good at. Running an offense. That gets mistaken as being a game manager, but what exactly is a game manager in the first place? |

I dunno, why couldn't he change? Mike McCoy changed the broncos offense for Tebow. It's not impossible. I'm just thinking, why would get a qb to run an offense that he isn't able to effectively run?
