to be fair Fatalities in that game do NOT give any person an advantage one way or another. when its time for fatalities you either won or lost.

if people want to pay for a 1 button fatality then by all means. It doesnt hurt gameplay one bit. Its basically just a celebration of the victory at the end.
Im just not good with unfair advantages which this gives none of. |

Back in my day, we didnt have 1 button fatalities. And when they did have them, it was called cheat codes.

I was around during the first era if MK as well. For fatalities all you did was have to remember some stupid ass direction and button combo. If people want to pay for hold back and press trangle then ok. It does absolutely 0/zero/nil to the actual game play. If people want to waste real life money on something so stupid, then by all means lol

except there is NO problem. Its doing nothing but making the company more money with and im ok with that.
After playing fighting games so hardcore the last 6 years. At least street fighter iv. i have put in easy about 15,000 matches online. Thats probably lowballing it. Something like 1 button fatalities is absolutely nothing. Now if it was 1 button combo's then we got a huge ****ing problem. |

Game Review - MLB 15 "The Show" PS4
I usually don't buy sports games every year anymore. No real difference between them each year. Just a few little upgrades here and there. Roster updates and all that shit.
I bought MLB 14 last year, played it for a month and got tired of it. Nothing new or different. I didn't care for the fielding mechanics either. Well, that was on a last generation system... It's gotta be awesome on next gen, right? Well... The short answer is a resounding "meh." The game is good on its own merits. It's competitive, faster paced and great online. It does a good job of matching and the ranking system upgrades you regularly. They did some decent upgrades to fielding but the pitching and hitting mechanics are the same. You pretty much swing at everything, guess pitches correctly once you learn the routine and there's not a lot of walks. At least not on regular difficulty. Graphics - They're decent but they are definitely not next gen. The crowds are cookie cutter and very boring. I see some differences with graphics regarding on-field play but nothing worth writing about. If you haven't played a MLB game in a few years, this one is worth a go. It has a lot of good features and it's fairly glitch-free. I had some framerate issues once or twice but nothing too irritating. It has decent music in areas, (like most MLB titles) and Yaay! You can pick walk up music for every player. Like who gives two shits, right? So, if you ignore the lack of upgrades year over year and take this game on its own merits, it's tough to find a lot to bitch about. It's pretty much a copy/paste from last year's edition but it's still a good game. While I do wish they'd play around with some of the batting and pitching mechanics and make it a bit more realistic, the game does give choices on how you perform said mechanics so that's nice. So, to summarize... The game is good, it's the same as last year, wish they'd upgrade graphics and you could basically get the same game via last year's edition. Final grade: 6.5 Maybe wait a few weeks for a price drop. |

All Things Video Games & Game Reviews
I had Xbox Live Gold from 2009 until February of 2015. In that span I got exactly two games worth a shit for free (Civilization: Revolution and Hitman: Absolution).
In the two months that I've let my Gold account expire, they've already offered up Tomb Raider and Assassin's Creed: Black Flag for free. Douchebag Microsoft... |

They've been doing better lately with XB1 sales. They took a helluva hit (PR wise) when they announced they were doing the no used game shit. Good thing they went back on it. Playstation's PS now stuff is pretty good so far. A lot of good PS3 games coming on every week. |
