In reading over the replies in this thread, I believe someone pointed out that I was incorrect in labeling the Subie as being a 4x4. Technically, I believe AWD is the more appropriate nomenclature for the Subie drive system, so I stand corrected.
Just wanted to acknowledge the oversight on my part. Carry on. |

Sold my 04 dakota tonight. Looking for a new truck. Have a few friends with the Edge. Been solid. We have an AWD Dodge Journey. Good car too. Tough to see out of the back.

I am wondering to what degree Fiat is going to change the drive line. I fear that anything after 2013 or 2014 is not going to be the same the product that has earned the reputation of Jeep. The ques and lines of the body has definitely changed.

Electric could be very beneficial to those who go off road/rock crawl because of the low end torque that can be created by the electric. |

Oil gets up to the crankshaft, and it ****s shit up in a hurry. Friend of mine in high school had the dealership not refill it with oil. He drove a few blocks away before it shut down. He was telling me about it and said that he just had them put some in it and wet about his business. He was making jokes about it. I was appalled. Pretty good chance his motor suffered major damage. And he didn't even get them on the hook for it. Always double check the dipstick before you start that bitch. |
