Belichick doesn't call a timeout, WORST DECISION EVER (before the next play), ESSENTIALLY WAVES THE WHITE FLAG, and then the hawks, with a timeout, DECIDE TO LINE UP IN SHOTGUN AND THROW THE BALL INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD WHEN THEY ARE 2ND AND GOAL FROM THE 1 WITH THE BEST RUNNING QB IN THE NFL AND THE BEST POWER RUNNER IN THE NFL?!

What are the actual odds of Marshawn not scoring from the 1 on the next 2 plays?

You don't run a read option play at the one because there are too many guys near the line and at least one (likely two) is going to have Wilson as his key.

I've complained about this stuff in Mizzou threads for years: no matter how much you use shotgun, you must have a power formation for those exact situations.

And here's the thing: Seattle has one.

All other managerial/coaching decisions in history will be measured against that abortion.

Belichick got bailed out. Not calling a timeout there was the dumbest thing I've ever seen in a big game. In fact, the odds will prove he NOT ONLY SHOULD HAVE CALLED A TIMEOUT, but he SHOULD HAVE LET THE HAWKS SCORE ON THE NEXT PLAY to give Brady 50 seconds and 1 timeout to get into FG range.

That's 100% what a genius coach should have done. The math will back me up and I guarantee it.

THIS IS A FACT: THE PATRIOTS WERE BAILED OUT BY THE WORST PLAYCALL IN THE HISTORY OF THE NFL.

No one will ever remember Bill Belichick making one of the worst coaching decisions in NFL history (given the importance of the game) because the Seahawks 5MILLIONUP'D them with the worst playcall in the history of the game.

it wasn't a bad pass? it was a poorly placed ball with a db breaking on the wr before the ball was released....


And completing nearly 50% of your passes for less than 250 yards, and throwing a game losing pick isn't doing a tremendous, or fantastic job.
