Hey, DMAC.
I have several guitars and amps of different types for different styles of music. You are welcome to come and check them out, and hopefully get you pointed in a good direction. I'm not trying to sell any of them, just trying to be a good neighbor. PM if you wish. Dinny |

Yeah, it's a favorite of mine back when I would relentlessly attempt to cover Satriani songs etc.

Thanks. I love guitars. My son just started playing and every time I take him to Guitar Center (his favorite place in the world) we walk out of there with something new. He's going to end up with a nice collection, too.

That's awesome! My oldest daughter plays piano/keyboards, and has been picking up the guitar some. Guitar Center is a dangerous place. I've been playing for around 30 years now and I have something like 11 guitars and 3 tube amps (all Fenders).

You guys need to post pics. Seriously.
I used to have a dozen guitars but since I've long since given up playing for money, I've had to downsize my collection. |

You could get a lightly used american standard strat for that. I have one that I have had in many different configurations but settled on a Lollar vintage blonde p/u set, but the Fat 50s they come with now are well regarded. Not the answer if you are a high voltage shred kind of guy but very nice, very sweet and light, for my purposes.
