Yes, a guy who has completed 53.8 percent of his NFL passes and threw just 21 touchdown passes in 25 professional games might actually be a better long-term option than Geno Smith, Matt Barkley, and their fellow NFL prospects

Screw you guys. I took that quote to mean as he is now, he's no better than all the QBs just coming out of college with ZERO experience. Which means Gabbert sucks major balls having 2 years of NFL experience and still looking like a rookie. I foresee Tyler Bray in the Jags' future.

Don't worry if the Chiefs still don't have a QB and are within striking range, Bridgewater will be ripped apart and made seem like he's not worthy of picking either. It is what it is.

Blaine Gabbert has obviously not panned out at the NFL level, but I think the statement is correct. If Gabbert were coming out this year, he'd be the #1 QB in this draft. Particularly if he would have stayed for a hypothetical senior year.
