Matt Ryan hasn't done anything of note in Atlanta, even though they have surrounded him with amazing talent in Roddy White, Tony Gonzalez and Julio Jones. He's had a solid if not spectacular offense line and a very solid defense.

Yet, he's won only one playoff game in five full seasons.

How can you predict that the Dolphins would have been "better off" with Ryan, especially considering their lack of skill position players during that time period?

Flacco has playoff wins on his resume, and these carry value. However, at times, I wonder how similar such a metric is to wins and losses for pitchers in baseball.

I'm not a huge Flacco proponent but he's won playoff games every year and if he had Ryan's skill players, it's probable that he would have won a Super Bowl earlier in his career.
