I know two years is a long time from today but it is going to be so awsome.

The first eclipse I saw was when I was in third grade at Cordill Mason in Blue Springs and I remember them saying at the time the next one would be 40 some years later...pretty cool to be in a full eclipse. It will be interesting to see the phenomenon.

Not sure if it was the same one I saw in 1st grade but if you're around 50-ish then probably is. I just remember how it got like 30 degrees colder in a matter of minutes and the sky got super dark blue before it happened.

St. Joseph, Missouri will have one of the best views of the solar eclipse on August 21st.

Apparently it is a big deal because the only available hotels on that date in/near St. Joseph are available for over $400/night.

That will be a crazy time in St. Joseph if Chiefs training camp is still going on during that time-frame.
