I present the "India/Indian Rubber" Ball:
-It's made completely of dense rubber -It's the size of a baseball -It's heavier than a baseball -When dropped against a hard surface, it bounces higher than the drop point. -It can be used as a weapon by throwing it at people who cannot catch. -It can be used as more effective weapon by throwing it at a wall angled towards your target. (their catching abilities wont be an issue due to velocity) I doubt anyone on this board has had any type of interaction with this type of ball, it's often used in Cricket. My father smuggled his to North America from England back in '66. Last edited by Gadzooks; 05-09-2015 at 11:22 PM.. |

I've never seen one of these balls before, but I suspect that it's because if you drop one it eventually ends up in outer space.

Tennis balls are pretty ****ing versatile.
Good bounce, catchable, enough weight for a good throw. Best thing is it is a decent substitute for a baseball. You could play baseball in the backyard/street/cul-de-sac without worrying too much about breaking a window or denting a car. |

Absolutely. I played baseball with a tennis ball way more often than I played with an actual baseball. Another point for the ol' TB!

I'd say tennis ball because you can play w/ it virtually anywhere.
But I love having a baseball in my hands. Always loved to pitch and I was good, til I blew my arm out when I was 15.

I ****ed mine up when I was 22 and hungover. Now, whenever I throw a baseball, I get a burning sensation shooting down my forearm and my ring and pinkie fingers go numb. (Likely ulnar nerve entrapment).
