The whole thing was JIMP.
Loved the look on Daisy and John's faces, loved the backdrop, loved the costumes, loved the lightsaber, loved the voice...holy **** man.

The lightsaber looks like it has power cell issues, and the voice was kind of "meh".

this is maybe the one and only time i agree with clay.
JIMP all over the damn trailer.. The X-wings with the water trail giving the distinction of how fast they were actually going. The Storm Troopers looking scared of something. The voice and eery awe of the dark side before he pull his lightsaber. And the tie fighters with the falcon. Jimp everywhere. |

I watched it without sound early this morning and thought "Interesting".
I've since played with sound and it's like "Holy Crap!". I love hearing the lightsaber at the very end, after "The Light", which I assume was Luke's saber shutting down. Awesome. |

It almost sounds like two voices narrating the trailer. The first one sounds like Benedict Cumberbatch, the second has a different infliction, especially when he says "and the light". I still don't get the broadsword lightsaber design, just seems non pratical, but other than that I'm very excited.

Everything in the trailer was note perfect, though. A shot of Han would have been nice, though. I suppose we'll get it eventually.

So will this be a Empire reverse reboot like JJ did with Wrath of Khan?
Spoiler: Luke gets encased in Carbonite this time.
