E3 will be epic this year...jealous of anyone that gets to go.
Love what I've seen of the XBO so far...can't wait to see what the new 8 exclusive IPs are and what will be rolled out. |

its on the suits. developers do what they are told. i dont really mind dlc if its good and its not already on the disc. Then again, next gen that shouldnt be an issue if they are using blu ray discs as they can put alot of shit on a disc now days.

Like I said, read the Wired article I linked/watch the video inserts. It talks about all of that. The first cars were complete ass compared to what we have now. The first cell phones were complete ass compared to what we have now. Things tend to get better with time when it comes to technology, the same applies to Kinect. I'm reading about the new Xbox making you pay for a used/borrowed game, though, and that's going to be a straight deal breaker for me, I think.

I also agree with you on the used game thing. They do that shit and I won't be purchasing their unit.

Yeah, that will probably do it for me as well. But, I'm waiting to see what all comes out about the system & the PS4. Really, I may just stick with the 360 for as long as I can.

Rest easy, it appears..... http://www.wired.com/gamelife/2013/0...ison-xbox-one/ Wired: What’s going on with used games? What about borrowed games? There’s a lot of speculation today. Can you clear some of that up? For example, we have multiple Xboxes in my house and trade games all the time. If we have multiple Xbox One consoles, can we still do that? Harrison: Absolutely, just like you can today. You take the disc, install “the bits” on every machine you have in your house from the same disc, and anybody in your household can play that game. You have exactly the same restrictions that you have today, as in only one of you can play that game at a time because you only have one disc. But anybody in that house… well, the Xbox Live account… it goes for both the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One, and any user inside that house. Wired: So as another example, if I took my disc and went to a friend’s house, would I be able to play that game on his machine? Harrison: Yes, you can. You can take your game around to your friend’s house just as you would today — that’s assuming you have a physical disc — and what we’re doing with the new Live technology is that… with the disc, it’s just a repository for “the bits”. You can put that disc into his drive, you can play the game while you’re there, and then you go home and take that disc with you. But actually, “the bits” are still on his drive. If your friend decides that he really likes to play that game, then he can go buy it instantly, and it doesn’t need to download again. It’s already there. Once he’s paid for it, it’s immediately there. |

Being able to download the game to the HD and then basically never needing the disc is an awesome idea. For someone like me with 3 small kids that don't treat DVD's/Games with the best of care - I'll never have to tell CJizzles "Sorry, my kids ****ed up that game and I can't play it anymore."
Now I just need an indestructible headset. |
